Staff nurse highly trained healthcare professional responsible for providing direct patient care, coordinating patient care plans, administering medications, and educating patients and their families about various health conditions and treatment options. Staff nurses are involved in assessing patients' health status, performing physical examinations, and monitoring their vital signs. They administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and they may also perform procedures such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheterization.

Care Planning and Coordination: Staff nurses develop individualized care plans for patients based on their assessments and collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure that patients' needs are met effectively. They coordinate care across different disciplines, communicate with physicians and specialists, and advocate for patients' preferences and treatment goals.

Patient Education: Staff nurses play a key role in educating patients and their families about their health conditions, medications, and treatment plans. Documentation and Reporting: Staff nurses maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patients' assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment in medical records. They communicate effectively with other members of the healthcare team through verbal reports, written documentation, and electronic health records to facilitate continuity of care.
